Is buying followers, likes and views safe?
Mostly, with one honest caveat. The dangerous part of this category is handing over your password — reputable services never need it, and pufferboost never asks. The residual risk is platform-side: buying engagement breaks most platforms' terms, so some delivered followers or likes may be removed in a later cleanup. Outright account bans for buying engagement are rare; silent removal of the purchased engagement is the common outcome.

The risk that actually matters: credentials
Almost every genuine horror story in this category starts the same way — someone handed their password, or an OAuth token with posting rights, to a service that then spammed from their account or resold the access. That is the risk worth avoiding, and it is entirely avoidable.
Delivering followers, likes, views or comments only requires information that is already public: a post URL, or an @handle. If a service asks for your password, a login code, or app permissions, that requirement is about their convenience, not about delivery. pufferboost asks for a public link and nothing else, which means there is no credential to leak in the first place.
What platforms actually do
X, Instagram and TikTok all prohibit buying engagement in their terms. In practice, enforcement is far more often a quiet purge of the accounts that did the engaging than an action against the account that received it. That is why the realistic downside is losing some of what you bought, not losing your account.
The pattern that draws attention is a sudden, implausible spike — ten thousand followers landing on a two-hundred-follower account inside an hour. This is why delivery pacing matters more than the purchase itself.
What reduces the risk
- Never share credentials. Non-negotiable, and the one rule that eliminates most of the danger.
- Spread delivery. Large orders should drip-feed over hours or days. How that works.
- Keep proportions plausible. Ten thousand likes on a post from an account with four hundred followers reads as bought to a human, never mind an algorithm.
- Keep the target public. A post that goes private or gets deleted mid-delivery fails the order, and a failed order is not always refundable once the network has accepted it.
- Prefer services with a refill guarantee so ordinary drop-off is covered rather than being your problem.
